Tonganoxie Recreation Commission will play host to its annual Easter egg hunt 3 p.m. Saturday at Chieftain Park.

Local youth aged from toddlers to 8 years old are invited to participate in hunting for candy filled eggs.

Besides the hunt, the rec commission also will provide a petting zoo, a bounce house, face painters and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny.

This year’s weather also looks as though it will be an improvement from last year’s late cold snap. The national weather service forecast has Saturday’s temperatures in the low 50s.
