Sub-state host PRHS ends McLouth’s year
The McLouth High volleyball season came to an end Saturday at the team’s Class 3A sub-state tournament in Easton.
The Bulldogs, the tournament’s No. 5 seed, got a tough draw in the opening round, where they fell to No. 4 host team Pleasant Ridge in two games, 25-10 and 25-11.
MHS finished the season 22-15, well above coach Erika Houk’s goal of .500.
PRHS (28-11) advanced to the final, where it fell to Jefferson County North (37-6).
JCN received one of eight 3A state berths with the sub-state victory.
