TMS 2nd at KVL tournament
With a second-place finish in the Kaw Valley League Tournament, the Tonganoxie Middle School girls basketball A team finished the season with a 10-3 record.
The Warriors defeated Monticello Trails, 35-26, in the postseason tournament, but were edged, 26-22, by Basehor-Linwood in the championship game.
TMS was 9-2 entering the tournament with its only losses coming to MTMS by eight and BLMS by two.
The Tonganoxie B team finished its season 7-4 and won the B-team tournament.
