The Battle of the Bands scheduled for Friday has been canceled, said Brad Eccles, Tonganoxie Recreation Commission assistant director. Eccles said Wednesday that the event was canceled because only two bands had signed up for the event, which has attracted teen bands for the annual event the last few years.
