The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 3 a.m. Tuesday for Leavenworth County and a flash flood watch until noon Tuesday for the county.

Jefferson and Douglas counties, meanwhile, join several Kansas counties in a tornado watch until midnight Tuesday.
