Club organizers encourage potential new wrestlers and their families to attend a Wednesday, Nov. 4 informational meeting, scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Tonganoxie High School Chieftain Room.

The kids club season begins with practices on Dec. 1, and the first tournament is Dec. 20.

Cost per wrestler is $65, which covers a USA Wrestling Athlete card, club T-shirt and one tournament entry fee.

Practices take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights at THS in the wrestling room. Practice for beginners runs from 6-7 p.m. and advanced wrestlers practice from 7-8:30 p.m.

The Chieftain Kids Wrestling Club is for children aged 4-16. Club members reside in Tonganoxie, Basehor, Linwood and McLouth.
