McLouth football loses season opener
The 2010 McLouth High football season began with a road loss to rival Oskaloosa Friday night.
The Bulldogs were thumped, 32-6, and didn’t reach the end zone until the fourth quarter.
Junior running back Alex Courtney led the MHS offense with 16 carries for 80 yards.
Sophomore quarterback Marc Walbridge completed nine of his 18 passes for 57 yards and a touchdown, with one interception.
Sophomore Dakota Cop was McLouth’s leading receiver with two catches for 13 yards and a touchdown.
The Bulldogs play at 7 p.m. Friday at Valley Falls.
