The McLouth boys received the No. 5 seed in the Class 3A Marysville bracket and will play at 7 p.m. Tuesday at No. 4 Sabetha.

McLouth’s girls, meanwhile, received the No. 8 seed in their bracket, which means they have to take on No. 1 seed Jefferson County North on the road at 7 p.m. on Monday at Winchester. The Bulldogs are 3-16, while JCN is a perfect 19-0.

The MHS girls lost to JCN, 67-25, on Dec. 14.

McLouth’s boys did not face Sabetha this season.

Should either McLouth team advance to the second round, those games would be played at Marysville. The semifinals for the girls bracket are Thursday and on Friday the boys will play their second-round games.

The finals for both tournaments are Saturday evening at Marysville.
