Blue Valley Southwest 53, Tonganoxie 45

Brityn Like’s 18 points helped propel Blue Valley Southwest to its first win of the season in a consolation semifinal. Emily Eldridge had 16 points and eight rebounds in the Timberwolves victory and Jenae Hicklin added 10 points.

Jenny Whitledge scored 11 points in the Tonganoxie loss and Danielle Miller pulled in 13 rebounds.

BVSW will play for fifth place on Saturday and THS will play in the seventh-place game.

Boys

Blue Valley Southwest 66, Eudora 52

Powered by Anthony Miller’s 24 points and 11 rebounds, Blue Valley Southwest won its first game of the year. Joe Reyes scored 11 as the Timberwolves advanced to the tournament’s fifth-place game on Saturday.

Eudora’s Andrew Ballock scored 20 points and Jordan Ballock had 15. The Cardinals will play Saturday in the seventh-place game.
