By placing in the top four at a district tournament on Saturday, Tonganoxie wrestlers Luke Carey, Justin Hand, Asher Huseman, Gad Huseman, Peyton Reeves, Korbin Riedel and Seth Wolf advanced to the state tournament.

Asher Huseman won a gold medal, Gad Huseman, Reeves and Riedel finished second, Hand placed third and Carey and Wolf took fourth.

Just more than half of Tonganoxie’s wrestlers advanced out of the district tournament.
