Evelyn Schwinn enjoyed lunch Sunday, Aug. 12, with Ed, Peggy and Drew Gillaspie. They saw the damage to several places from the storm.

Evelyn Schwinn enjoyed a visit from Brian, Linda K. and Airman First Class Justin Schwinn Sunday, Aug. 12. Justin is enjoying his leave, seeing relatives and friends.

Oliver Koch visited the Schwinn brothers and Evelyn Schwinn Monday, Aug. 13. His wife, Mary, had back surgery recently. He said it’s a long process, but she is doing pretty well.

Ronny Farris came home last Wednesday from his long stay at the hospital. He is doing really well. He has to have therapy at home for some time. He was glad to come home. His stay started back in March.

Rob Nobel, neighbor of Wayne and Anabel Knapp, was a Tuesday evening visitor. He brought some peaches.

Wayne and Anabel Knapp attended the Leavenworth County Fair Aug. 9. Others also attended. The children did real well with their exhibits.
