Jarbalo United Methodist Church members wish to thank everyone who contributed to the benefit fund concert given by Jess Barnett. Thanks to everyone who attended and to those who sent contributions. It certainly is appreciated.

Several people from the neighborhood attended the visitation and funeral of Rosemary Ward Friday at Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs.

The Barnett family Christmas dinner was at the home of Thamar Barnett. Those there were David and Jane Turner; David Jr. and Sydney Turner; Jess Barnett; Derek, Luci and Kyle Barnett; Jared Barnett; Eric Barnett; Kathy Stimac; Terry Drennon; Kipp Barnett; Loren and Taylor Barnett; Jesse Blake Barnett; Jessica Blevins; Tammy Mooberry; Ronnie Mooberry; Dameta Tullis; Ryan, Rhiannon and Kaleb Siefkas; Madison Smith; Paul, Lynn and Isaac Heskett; Michelle Heskett; Kody, Julie and Emily Heskett; Julia and Shianne Carter. Julia and Shianne spent Tuesday night with Thamar.

Jim and Jean Murry had Christmas dinner with some of their family from Springfield, Mo., on Dec. 29.

Visiting Orville and Rosie Oelschlaeger on Christmas Day were Mark and Susan Oelschlaeger, Sarah and Grace; John and Janie Oelschlaeger, Erin and Amy; B.J. Oelschlaeger; Joni Roark, all of Lawrence; Gary Oelschlaeger, Aidan and Abby, of Overland Park; and Kayla Oelschlaeger of Osage City. Wednesday visitors were Dr. Timothy and Echo Blanton, Garrison and RayLynn, of Ponca City, Okla. Visiting on Thursday was Dr. John Clark of Kansas City, Kan. Saturday visitors were Gary and Linda Blanton of Highland. The visitors made for a great Christmas week.
