On Monday, Jan. 2, Emily Cole turned 13 years old. Grandparents Bill and Carol Cole and Evelyn Schwinn, her brother Luke and parents Ray and Jeanette Cole had lunch at Pizza Hut in Lansing.

Bret Schwinn and David Roggerkemp celebrated their birthdays on Dec. 29.

Ralph and Linda Haley traveled to Colorado Springs and spent Christmas with Linda’s relatives. They arrived home Wednesday evening, Jan. 3 after a wonderful trip.

Pastor Bill Nowlon visited Wayne and Anabel Knapp on Tuesday at their home. Several people in the Springdale community decorated their homes for Christmas. Looking like a little town. Very beautiful.
