Blood drive scheduled for next week at VFW Hall
Community Blood Center will have a blood drive from 2-7 p.m. Friday, July 20, at the Tonganoxie VFW Hall, 910 E. First St.
To make an appointment online, go to esavealifenow.org and use sponsor code “tonganoxie.” Appointments also can be made by calling Dick Dean at 913-845-2164.
According to Community Blood Center, one donation can help as many as two hospital patients and the blood center must collect at least 580 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of the area.
