The Leavenworth County Commission meets regularly at 9 a.m. each Monday and Thursday at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, 300 Walnut St. in Leavenworth.

Monday, June 11

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business/administrator’s report

  • Approval of minutes of June 7

9:15 a.m.: Larry Malbrough, information services director — request for proposals re: long distance

9:30 a.m.: Mick Schwartzkopf, deputy county engineer

  • Replacement of Leavenworth County Bridge F-8/three-sided precast reinforced concrete bridge structure bids

9:45 a.m.: Preliminary discussion in regard to proposed 2013 budget

Thursday, June 14

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business/administrator’s report

  • Approval of minutes of June 11
  • Approval of agenda for week of June 18

9:15 a.m.: Jeff Joseph, director of planning and zoning — temporary special use permits

9:30 a.m.: Mark Wilson, director of solid waste — set solid waste fees and authorization to award hauling services
