Free Basehor-Linwood children’s BLOCKFest program set for next week

The Basehor-Linwood Parents as Teachers program will have free BLOCKFest sessions next week for parents or guardians and their children from 8 months to 8 years old.

The sessions will be 6 to 7 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Monday and 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in the gymnasium at Basehor Elementary School, 15602 Leavenworth Road in Basehor.

Participants must wear socks and remove their shoes for the program. Parents or guardians should sign up for the sessions in advance through the Basehor-Linwood Parents as Teachers Facebook page, by email to jhimpel@usd458.org or over the phone by calling Jacki Himpel at (913) 544-7160.
