Three THS wrestlers earn preseason rankings
Three Tonganoxie High wrestlers are present in the 2012 Class 4A preseason rankings, released Oct. 30 by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association.
Sophomore Asher Huseman, a sixth-place finisher at last year’s state meet, checks in at No. 5 in the 152-pound class. Junior Clayton Himpel is sixth in the 126-pound class and senior Julius Coats sixth in the 182-pound class. Himpel and Coats were both state qualifiers last season.
The Chieftains are unranked in the team standings.
