Bulldog volleyball can’t end skid at home
The McLouth High volleyball team hoped to end its losing streak in its first home action of the season on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs couldn’t grab their first win.
MHS (0-17) dropped a pair of Delaware Valley League matches to Pleasant Ridge and Jefferson County North. The team opened play against PRHS and grabbed an early lead with a 28-26 win in the first set, but the Rams responded by winning the next two sets, 25-15 and 25-11. The Bulldogs couldn’t repeat their strong start against JCN as the Chargers won in straight sets, 25-16 and 25-19.
McLouth will have an extended break before it returns to the court on Sept. 29 at the Valley Falls tournament.
