McLouth basketball to host golf tourney
The McLouth High boys basketball team will host is annual golf tournament at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at Village Greens Golf Course in Ozawkie.
The tournament is a four-man scramble and will also include a longest drive competition, closest to the pin contest and longest putt competition. Golfers can buy mulligans for $5 each (limit two per player) and teams can by a hole-in-one on a designated par-3 hole for $20.
Cost is $65 per golfer and includes green fees, cart fees and a barbecue dinner after the tournament. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.
Sponsorship packages are also available. Hole sponsorships are $75. Barbecue sponsorships are $125 and include your company’s name on a sign at the dinner. A “Bulldog package” is available for $300 and includes entry fees for four golfers and a sign at the barbecue.
