MHS girls fall in sub-state opener
The McLouth High girls saw their season come to an end Monday with a 50-21 loss to Valley Falls in sub-state quarterfinal action at VFHS.
The seventh-seeded Bulldogs (5-16) failed to score more than seven points in any quarter. They fell behind 14-7 after one and trailed by 17 at the break, 27-10. The No. 2 Dragons continued to pull away in the second half.
Kayla Steffey led MHS with 10 points in her final career game.
