McLouth football players named to All-NEK team
Six McLouth High football players were named to this year’s All-Northeast Kansas League team, including a trio of first-team selections.
Running back Jace Carlton, offensive lineman Jake Copeland and linebacker Adam Perkins each earned first-team picks after the Bulldogs’ 4-5 season. MHS went 3-3 in league play in 2014.
Copeland was also a second-team selection as a defensive lineman, while Jack Arnett was a second-team cornerback. Quarterback Jack Courtney and defensive back Sergio Hernandez were both honorable mentions.
