Chieftain runners win again at Perry
The Tonganoxie High cross country teams kept their successful season going Thursday, sweeping the team titles at the Perry-Lecompton Invitational.
The Chieftains were originally schedule to run in the Maranatha Invitational, but switched to the Perry race when Maranatha moved its meet to Friday. The THS girls won with 30 points, while the boys won with a score of 47.
Freshman Emma Campbell led the girls once again, finishing third individually in 18 minutes, 12.14 seconds. She was one of four Chieftains in the top 10.
