“It’s comforting to know there’s always someone out there thinking of you and someone who stops in just to see you,” Bowlin said.
In her spare time, Bowlin likes to scrapbook and decorate.
Many of her cousins ask her to assist them with redecorating projects. She said her favorite style is French country.
“I love interior decorating, and my husband hates it because oftentimes I’m rearranging the furniture,” Bowlin said with a laugh.
Her family also likes to go on family trips. The family goes on different trips each year. They generally are surprise trips, as Bowlin and her husband wait until the last minute to fill the children in on the vacation destination. She said another trip was planned for later this year.
They have traveled to various states, including California, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas and Texas.
“Just kind of all over,” Bowlin said.
Her brother lives in New York City and though she hasn’t visited him yet, “I want to so bad,” she said.
