Three McLouth runners earn state bids
A trio of McLouth High runners will represent their school Saturday at the Class 2A state meet at Wamego Country Club.
Ceara Funk, Ryan Bristol and Tristan Funk each qualified for state last week at a regional meet last week in Washington.
Ceara Funk is the Bulldogs’ first female qualifier since MHS earned a team bid in 2004. Bristol is making his second state appearance in the boys race, while Tristan Funk will make his state debut.
The 2A girls race will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the boys race will be at noon.
