Playing in its second consecutive home game, the Chieftains (2-2-1) opened up a 3-0 halftime lead and never looked back. Huseman’s three goals led the way, giving him a team-high eight on the year. Captain Garrett Martin added two scores, while Dawson Jones, Logan Williams and Aiden McClellan each scored once.

Passing was a key factor, as seven goals came off assists. Tyler Novotney led the team with three, and Huseman, Martin, Alec Richert and Gad Huseman had one apiece.

THS will return to Kaw Valley League action Tuesday when it hosts Turner. The junior varsity game is set for 4 p.m. and the varsity match will immediately follow.
