I am writing to express my appreciation of Kansas Rep. Connie O’Brien, R-Tonganoxie, for her responsiveness on issues.

I have found that when I call her she always promptly answers or returns my calls.

Once I had an issue related to my sister’s little girl with special needs, as she has Down syndrome. Connie helped direct her to the right state contact for obtaining assistance.

I appreciate her conservative stand on moral issues such as abortion and expansion of gambling. I also appreciate her votes to reduce taxes and reform education.

Perhaps the gentleman having difficulty contacting Rep. O’Brien was not calling the right number.
