The Chieftains (3-2-1, 1-2 KVL) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the game’s opening minutes and never looked back in their first win in league play. Asher Huseman led all scorers with four goals, giving him 12 on the season and seven in the last two contests, while Logan Williams and Brandon Williams each added a score.

Defensively, goalkeeper Alex Kroll blocked two penalty kicks in the win. Kroll has allowed just two goals during the team’s current win streak.

THS will continue league competition Thursday at Piper. It has three games scheduled for next week, starting with a Monday visit from Class 5A Mill Valley.
