The local post will have the event from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 27 and 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Leavenworth County Fairgrounds.

Admission is a suggested donation of $5. Children younger than 10 can attend for free when accompanied by an adult.

Post 41 will take $25 donations for each 10-foot table at the gun show. Set-up time will be available from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 26.

A drawing at the end of the gun show also will take place. For a $5 donation, a visitor can win a chance at a .22-caliber rifle.
