Wrongfully convicted Oklahoma man to speak about capital punishment
Curtis McCarty, who was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death in Oklahoma, will speak next week about capital punishment.
McCarty, an advocate for repeal of the death penalty, will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Tonganoxie United Methodist Church, 328 E. Fourth St. in Tonganoxie.
McCarty spent 19 years on death row before being exonerated in 2007.
