A 60-year-old Fort Scott woman who was a Lansing Correctional Facility employee has pleaded no contest to a methamphetamine charge in Leavenworth County.

Jacqueline Doty faces one count methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute at the Lansing Correction Facility.

On June 25, 2014, officials conducted a targeted employee search on Doty at the Lansing Correctional Facility. Doty was an employee at LCF. Officers with LCF searched Doty and found her to be in possession of several large bags of suspected controlled substances, according to Todd Thompson, Leavenworth County attorney. The bags were concealed in a girdle type undergarment with large ACE bandages wrapped around her midsection to further disguise the items from view. One of the bags contained roughly 14 grams of methamphetamine.

Doty stated she had been bringing controlled substances into the Lansing Correctional Facility on multiple occasions.
