ELECTION CENTRAL: ‘No’ votes leading Value Them Both ballot question in Leavenworth County, statewide

It appears Kansas voters have rejected a constitutional amendment to abortion laws in the state.

Voters in Leavenworth County are saying “no” to the Value Them Both amendment, mirroring the statewide results as election results continue to come in.

The no votes lead, 12,379-8,311 with 45 of 55 precincts reporting in Leavenworth County, according to results posted on the county website. That’s nearly 60% of the vote. Statewide, the “no” vote is at nearly 63%, as 390,807 “no” votes have been counted as opposed to 237,696 “yes” votes, according to Associated Press estimates. That’s with an estimated 86% of the votes counted.
