Don’t miss the annual Old Settlers Reunion on June 25-27 in downtown Oskaloosa.
Free Admission. Free Parking. Lots of events and fun for all ages starting at 5 p.m., with events all day and evening Saturday. Carnival begins at 6 p.m. nightly. Live music every evening. Old Settlers Parade will start at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. (Line up at Oskaloosa High School at 4:30. p.m. No registration required.)
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday
McLouth will celebrate the country’s milestone birthday on July 4.
The fun starts at 3 p.m. at McLouth Prairie Park.
There will be a bounce house, obstacle course and face painting, as well as a leatherworks vendor.
The youth patriotic bicycle parade will start at 4:30 p.m. There also will be food trucks and the McLouth Community Band will perform.
Fireworks will start at 9:45 p.m.
Spnsors for the celebration are McLouth Recreation Commission, City of McLouth, McLouth Kiwanis and District No. 9 Fire Department.
