According to court documents, Patrick was arrested April 18, 2026, after a Leavenworth police officer confirmed he had an active arrest warrant.

While taking Patrick into custody, officers searched his clothing and found a substance that was later tested and determined to be fentanyl.

“Fentanyl continues to pose a serious threat to our community. It is extraordinarily dangerous, and even a very small amount can be deadly,” Thompson said. “If you or someone you love is struggling with fentanyl or opioid addiction, please reach out for help.”

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. Oct. 16 in Leavenworth County District Court.
