Tonganoxie Public Library, 217 E. Fourth St.Big Author and Book Market coming this month!
The Tonganoxie Public Library is excited to offer its first ever Author and Book Market this month on Sept. 19.
The outdoor event will run from 1-4 p.m. and will feature 14 authors, 15 vendors, two bookstores and two food trucks plus we’ll have a charm collecting keychain activity with a raffle and a drop-in mini book magnet craft (located indoors).
Vendors will have everything from coffee drinks and sweet treats to bread, soap, live plants, dog treats, book bouquets and blind dates with a book, bookmarks, hand painted art and so much more!
There will be something for everyone! For the full lineup of authors, food trucks and more information, head over to the library’s website at tonganoxielibrary.org or email Kim at kimd@tonganoxielibrary.org.
Outdoor evening storytimes starting Thursday
The library will offer an outdoor storytime with our children’s librarian, Miss Katie, at 6 p.m. two more Thursdays in September. The story time also will be offered this Thursday and Sept. 17.
Enjoy the Farmers Market and a special storytime in the same night! Storytimes are open to all ages, but they are geared toward youths up to about 5 years old.
Note: watch the library’s Facebook page for any changes to the schedule. If the temperature is too high for the day, the storytimes might be canceled.
