Sunflowers continue to shine at Grinter Farms

Sunflowers at Grinter Farms are in bloom and ready to greet visitors in the evening Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021.If anyone missed out on viewing the sunflower fields at Grinter Farms, there’s still time to view the natural beauty.
The fields are near 23850 Stilwell Road between Tonganoxie and Lawrence. The Sunflower General store, which the Grinter family owns, also will be open for business daily during the blooming season.

Other fall events are coming up in Tonganoxie, including a Tonganoxie Arts Council community picnic on Saturday at Gallagher Park.
