Tonganoxie High ag instructors stepping down

Personnel recommendations, resignations, retirements and transfers were approved at Monday’s meeting.

Included in the list are resignations from ag instructors at Tonganoxie High School, Zach Callaghan and Beth Schartz.

Here’s the full list: Contracts and work agreements were approved for Nicole Snider, Tonganoxie High School interrelated teacher; Connor Faulkner, THS ELA teacher; Trenton Gordine, Tonganoxie Elementary School evening custodian; Krystal Temple, THS secretary/bookkeeper; Sidney Heiman, TES teacher; Mayce Mikulecky, TES teacher; Baylie Kiefer, THS head cheer coach; Kenneth Simmons, THS digital media/video teacher; and Ralphie Miller, THS assistant baseball coach.

Resignations were accepted for April Alexander, TES special education paraprofessional; Allyson Jones, TES early childhood teacher; Callaghan, THS vocational ag teacher and FFA adviser; Katie Murray, TES third-grade teacher; Rachel Williams, TES first-grade teacher; Kevin Bronson, THS industrial arts; Kori Quarles, TES copy center aide; Amy Hoffsett, THS student nutrition; Schartz, THS vo-ag teacher, FFA adviser and THS assistant softball; Joy Cooper, TES student nutrition; Nick Myers, TMS cross country; Stephanie Stanton-Wittman, TMS head girls basketball; and Nick Butler, THS interrelated teacher.

There was one retirement in the personnel list: Kim Swearngin, who is retiring as THS family and consumer science teacher and head Family, Career and Community Leaders of American adviser.

In addition, there is one transfer: Doug Sandburg, THS social studies teacher to TMS science teacher.
