The meeting will be 7 p.m. at the USD 464 Administrative Center west of the Tonganoxie High School campus. The board meeting room can be accessed by entering the double-doors at the northwest corner of the building.

The board will discuss two items at the meeting with the possibility of an executive session.

First will be an agreement with HTK Architects to be construction manager for the HVAC renovation project at Tonganoxie Elementary School.

The other item is to vote on approval of contract with Eskie and Associates for pre-construction management services. The services are for planning of the parking lot project south and west of the USD 464 Administrative Center.

USD 464 school board’s next regular meeting is 6 p.m. Monday at the same location.

City Council to meet Nov. 17

Tonganoxie City Council next will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at council chambers, Third and Bury streets.

The council normally meets the first and third Monday of the month, but did not meet this past Monday.

Christmas parade is this month

The Tonganoxie Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade will start at 5 p.m. Nov. 22 at Fourth and Delaware streets. The tree lighting will be 5:45 p.m. at Tonganoxie Public Library.
