The wreath-off event is open to individuals, businesses and groups.

Participants are encouraged to get creative with their themes and materials.

Wreaths must be submitted by Nov. 25 (Black Friday) to the Tonganoxie Public Library. The wreaths will be on display and up for bid until Dec. 18. The wreath-off is a silent auction, with proceeds to benefit the Friends of the Library. Highest bidders will be contacted Dec. 18-19. Winning wreaths also will receive cash prizes. The wreaths must not exceed 24 inches in diameter. Entry forms are available at the library circulation desk.
