First State Bank and Trust prsents $26K check to Tonganoxie USD 464

First State Bank and Trust presented Tonganoxie USD 464 with a check for more than $26,000 at the district’s annual staff breakfast Monday at Tonganoxie Middle School.

During the breakfast, which the bank sponsored, First State representatives presented a check to the district for $26,221.15, reflecting 5 cents for each time customers swiped their Chieftain debit cards in the last year. Since the program’s inception, First State has donated $186,449 to the district.
