McLouth BBQ Blowout is this weekend

McLouth is gearing up for its 33rd Annual BBQ Blowout, Northeast Kansas BBQ Championship.
Though the main event of the barbecue contest doesn’t start until Saturday, there will be other festivities Friday night.
Sanctioned by KC Barbeque Society and sponsored by the McLouth Recreation Commission, the event will be at Prairie Park, 110 Bulldog Blvd.
Events begin at 7 p.m. Friday, featuring live music and a cornhole tournament.
Competition festivities run from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, including a Classic Car, Truck, Motorcycle and Tractor Display. Parking and admission is free.
