The benefit will be 5:30-7 p.m. Friday at the Chieftain Room, which is near the south entrance to Chieftain Arena on the Tonganoxie High School campus. All proceeds will go toward the Good Shepherd Thrift Shop and Food Bank to help provide Christmas meals and gifts to those in need.

Organizers are asking for cash donations, with Venmo also being available. The groups are asking for a minimum of $5 per person and guests are welcome to head back for seconds.

Tonganoxie girls and boys basketball teams take on Louisburg at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the season opener for THS teams.
