Utilities and trash increases tabled until next Tonganoxie City Council meeting

Tonganoxie City Council Chambers are moving to the former public library at Third and Bury streets. In-person meetings also available for viewing on a city YouTube Channel could start with the Jan. 19 regular meeting.Tonganoxie City Council members asked that a decision to increase sewer and water rates be tabled until the next meeting, which is Dec. 15.
Members wanted more time to look through options for the sewer and water rates. Increases for trash and recycling service also were tabled so as to vote on the measures at the same time.
