Tonganoxie High School vocal music students perform during Saturday’s evening performance of the Madrigal Feaste at the Tonganoxie Middle School commons area.

The weather might have been cold and bitter outside, but the wassail helped make it warm and toasty inside for Saturday’s Madrigal Feaste performances at the Tonganoxie Middle School commons area.

Tonganoxie High School vocal department students performed under the direction of Tom Gifford. And as has been tradition, there also were skits and then audience participation for the singing of the “Twelve Days of Christmas.”

This marked the 24th year of the holiday tradition.
