Free summer meals for youths up to 18 being offered at Tonganoxie Elementary through middle of July

Anyone 18 and younger can visit the Tonganoxie Elementary School north entrance, pictured above, for free sack lunch and breakfast-to-go at lunchtime weekdays during the school closures due to the coronavirus pandemic.The free summer meal program started Monday at Tonganoxie Elementary School.
The dine-in only meals are offered 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except Independence Day. The program runs through July 18. Lunch is free for anyone ages 1-18. Adults can also eat for $5.50 per meal.
Meals are dine-in only due to United States Department of Agriculture regulations.
