The reception will be 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tonganoxie High School cafeteria. The USD 464 facilities and grounds department will host the open-house-style event, which will feature light refreshments.

Tice is a 2021 Tonganoxie Education Foundation Alumni Achievement Award winner. In addition to Tice’s more than three decades of work in the school district, the Tonganoxie alum has won several medals through the years in Special Olympics and has participated in a program through the United Methodist Church designed to create guidelines for ministering to special needs people throughout the country.
