Tonganoxie Citywide Garage Sales are Saturday in town

Garage sale season is starting, as evidenced by this sign posted Saturday in Tonganoxie. Cynthia Ewer, editor of organizedhome.com, has some pointers for folks thinking about having a yard sale.It’s almost time to downsize for the fall or discover some treasures.
The fall Tonganoxie Citywide Garage Sales will be Saturday, though many sales start earlier.
There is no registration requirement for the sales, but city officials ask that anyone putting up temporary signs consult the city’s sign regulations. Those Tonganoxie regulations can be found at tonganoxie.org.
The citywide garage sales have taken place for many years and are the first Saturday in April and the first Saturday in October. If anyone is unable to have sales this weekend, the citywide sales next year will be April 4 and Oct. 3, 2026.
