Tonganoxie Public Library, 217 E. Fourth St.Library bingo in November
We only have one session of bingo this month for adults of all ages at Tonganoxie Public Library.
Join us from 1-3 p.m. Monday for 10 rounds of bingo play. We have snacks, small prizes, lots of winners as well as a ton of fun!
Food demo program next week
The K-State Research and Extension food experts return at noon Tuesday for a program that will look at the difference between boxed food items and made from scratch.
What is the difference in taste and nutrition? Do you think you could tell the difference? You’ll have the chance to see food demonstrations, taste tests and take home a variety of recipes to try out. Knowledge at Noon is normally the second Tuesday of the month, but this is a special date in November because of Veterans Day.
Mosaic frame craft for adults next week
We have a pretty and easy craft next week at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 6 for adults and those 14 years and older.
We’ll be creating 5×7 mosaic frames with square glass tiles. It’s the perfect way to showcase a special photo memory! All supplies will be provided, but registration is required. Give the library a call at 913-845-3281 to save a spot. Space is limited!
Yarn and Fabric Exchange coming soon
The annual Yarn and Fabric Exchange returns this November.
The event will be 11 a.m. Nov. 15. Those who would like to participate should drop off their yarn, fabric or related accessories between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Nov. 14. Then those people who bring items to exchange will be able to “shop” the exchange first from 11 a.m-noon.
After noon, anyone can come to the exchange whether they donate or not. There’s always a full room of supplies to take a look at, and everything is free to a new home.
