Halloween events planned for Tonganoxie area

The Laffery home at 109 E. Third St. in Tonganoxie is a popular spot for Halloween. Visitors can walk through the yard and see the various displays up close.Spooktacular, per usual, was a big hit last Friday in downtown Tonganoxie, but there are additional festivities happening on Halloween this Friday.
There are Trunk or Treat events Friday. Tonganoxie Christian Church will have its event from 5-7 p.m. in the churc parking lot, 204 Washington St. Hot dogs and candy will be provided.Lynch Real Estate, 1204 State Ave., will have Trunk or Treat options from 6-8 p.m. as well.
In addition, McLouth will have a Halloween celebration in the downtown area on Union Street. For more, see McLouth Happenings on page 3A.
