Stanwood Friends Church Homecoming, celebrating 142 years of worship and fellowship, will be Oct. 5.

Services begin at 10 a.m. with Sunday school, followed by worship at 11 a.m. Potluck dinner will follow the service.

The service will be full of sharing, special music, stories and memories from friends and families who have been part of our fellowship for generations. Please join us for worship and fellowship at Stanwood Friends Church in rural McLouth, 6197 259th St., Tonganoxie.

Look for the sign on Kansas Highway 16 between Tonganoxie and McLouth.

MHS Homecoming is next month

McLouth High School will have homecoming in October.

The spirit week will start Oct. 6. The MHS homecoming parade will be 6 p.m. Oct. 8 in downtown McLouth. This year’s homecoming game is 7 p.m. Oct. 10 against Valley Falls at Stan Braksick Sports Complex.
