McLouth will kick off its homecoming festivities Monday.

Activities for the 2025 McLouth High School Homecoming Week start Monday with spirit days.

The theme for students Monday is Pajama Day, while Tuesday is Country vs. Country Club Day.

Wednesday, Oct. 8, is Class Colors Day and Oct. 9 is Decade Day. Oct. 10, of course, is Purple and Gold Day.

Class Colors for the Oct. 8 theme are orange for seniors, pink for juniors, blue for sophomores and green for freshmen.

The community parade will start at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8 and will make its way through downtown McLouth and on to Stan Braksick Sports Complex. The Buff ‘n Tuff Volleyball Match will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Gold Gymnasium, with the Powder Puff Football game set to start at 7:30 p.m. at the sports complex. There also will be a tug-of-war at 8:30 p.m. and a scavenger hunt at 8:45 p.m.

In addition to all of the Oct. 8 activities, there will be food trucks on hand for the evening festivities at the stadium. Alleyway, which features smash burgers and lemonade, Country Girl Shack, which features Philly steaks, and Main Street Scoops, which features ice cream, will be at the stadium parking lot at night.

There will be a pep rally at the MHS Gold Gymnasium at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 10, while the homecoming royalty crowning will be at halftime of the McLouth-Pleasant Ridge game that night. Kickoff for the game is 7 p.m. at Stan Braksick Sports Complex.

King candidates this year are Cheiton Brandel, Braden Blowers and Chantz Barfield. Queen candidates are Abbi Fox, Charlesey Coffin and Alexis Barnes.

A school dance will take place after the game.

The MHS homecoming theme this year is Slam the Rams.
